What are Junker Queen’s abilities in Overwatch 2? Junker Queen is one of two new playable characters joining the already extensive roster of hero marksmen in the upcoming Overwatch 2, and the latest to be revealed as part of the most recent closed beta. In the story, Odessa «Dez» Stone is a former Australian gladiator and ruler of Junkertown, familiar as the former home of returning hero Jamison «Junkrat» Fawkes. In the game, she plays a tank role within her team wielding a deadly combination of shotgun, throwing knife, and ax weaponry to inflict wounds and deal heavy damage over time to her opponents. Junker Queen’s kit in Overwatch 2
Junker Queen is a tank with a robust 425 health, and her gear is designed for close combat with enemies. While he’s capable of mid-range attacks with his shotgun or throwing knife, he really shines when you get up close to him, whether it’s with an axe, knife, or just that same trusty shotgun. Her starting base damage is pretty standard for a tank class character, but her ability to hurt enemies and deplete their health over time is where she really stands out amongst her cohort. Coupled with her ability to heal herself based on the amount of damage she deals to injured enemies, Junker Queen is more of a frenzy than a fighter, as her survivability actually increases the more she is surrounded by their opponents.
Here is a full list of Junker Queen’s abilities as they appeared in the latest beta:
- Shotgun (Primary Fire) : A pump-action shotgun that acts as Junker Queen’s weapon and defaults when she goes on the offensive. Players have recorded a minimum of 80 damage per shot and a nice headshot capability. The Shotgun can carry up to six ammunition.
- Jagged Blade (Secondary Fire) : Used for quick melee attacks, Jagged Blade’s passive deals immediate 80 damage and wounds that deal 15 damage over time. Used as a projectile in active attacks, Jagged Blade acts like a boomerang that can be activated to pull an impaled enemy towards Junker Queen, while also dealing damage over time. Missed shots can still be retrieved to hurt enemies along the path of the blade. The cooldown is 6 seconds, and sadly there is no headshot bonus.
- Rampage (Ultimate): Activate to charge forward while damaging and wounding enemies in an AoE, dealing melee impact damage and wound damage over time. The ult also applies an anti-heal effect to affected enemies.
- Carnage (Skill) : Junker Queen swings an ax that strikes enemies up to 5 meters directly in front of her for 90 damage on impact, and also wounds them for 55 damage over time. Cooldown time is 8 seconds.
